The City of East St. Louis Community Development Department is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funded Program. The department relies on annual grant funding from HUD to fund the Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Shelter and HOME programs.
The City of East of East St. Louis Community Development Department seeks to address the housing, health, educational, infrastructural and business needs in the community by providing funding to local businesses, agencies and organizations that qualify.
